same thing every night on the news and yet, there’s not a whole lot to say.

The pieces you are making concerning the oil spill are interesting. I wish the news would take some more time to remember the families that lost their loved ones. Also, the families who thankfully still have their loved ones but whose lives are forever changed because of this disaster.
Keep up the artistic flow.

OMG, couldn’t agree with you more!!! I’m working on something on the side that includes the people as well as the animals affected. Besides the 11 who actually died there’s thousands (or I guess millions depending on how you look at it) of people getting totally royally screwed over. But the people who died initially got quickly forgotten in the media frenzy since, and that’s honestly pretty sad.
It is very sad. My husband was a crew member on the rig, and fortunately survived. It is not easy for him, the other crew members, or their families. From the families I’ve spoke with it, we all have the same story/emotions…Just one day at a time still. I look forward to your piece involving both the people and animals. I want to share it with others, with your permission of course. We are trying to do a little here and there to keep these crew members and their families from being forgotten.
Beautiful work, keep it up!
Thank you very much!
